The freight elevator can be used to haul materials with the prior consent from Management and can be put into independent service being that Tenant security requirements do not impact this function. The freight elevator is a 3,500 lb. capacity. The freight elevator will need to be protected to avoid damage to the interior finishes. Any damage to the elevator, mechanically or aesthetically, will be billed to the contractor. In addition, the elevators must be cleaned after each use; this includes removing debris from the tracks and wiping dirt and dust from the panels. Carpet mats are to be placed in front of the service elevator and along a patch leading to construction paths. If necessary, Management may request the contractor to clean pits and door jams due to dust from construction.
